Doodle I

I sometimes have a lot of time on my hands. I doodle.  This doodle is the result.  This took me about three weeks to doodle, adding a bit here and there while I was sitting on hold on the phone at work, watching TV at my apartment, reading books on tape (I still consider that reading.  It's reading through my ears) or just daydreaming.

And it includes many of the things that fascinate me in life. Order. Disorder. Movement. Stillness. Planes. Rockets. Zeppelins. Trains and subways. Mountains and caves. Castles, skyscrapers, ancient temples and ancient aqueducts.

Anyway, I've got two versions here.  One is on black, and one is on white. I'm partial to the doodle on black, although the doodle on white is how the original drawing looked as I was sketching it with pencil on some good old letter-sized paper that I stole from the printer at work (then I cleaned up some smudges in Photoshop after I scanned it here).

Enjoy.
